PROJECT ENGINEERING & DESIGN - SOLAR

SITE INVESTIGATIONS
We carry out initial site visits to determine possible issues and interconnection locations. Desktop Soil Surveys, Flood & Hydrology Reports, and Slope Analysis Reports are also part of this site assessment to identify development challenges and opportunities, photo surveys of site features, and use hand-held survey equipment as necessary. Technical memorandum / report summarizing the visit to inform the project team.
SITE LAYOUTS
MEENA engineers develop detailed site layout with AutoCAD Civil 3D, incorporating project constraints such as NWI and FEMA boundaries, soils maps, available parcel boundaries. Preliminary project details. We develop initial layouts for rooftop, carport, and ground mount (fixed and Single Axis Tracker) sites to determine system size using programs such as PVCase, PVsyst and AutoCAD.
SINGLE LINE DIAGRAMS
Our engineers have expertise in developing initial electrical single-line drawings of the system and interconnection for estimating and issuing to the utility and ISO for interconnection.
INTERCONNECTION SUPPORT
We are competent in supporting our clients to complete Application Forms, Assessing utility requirements for interconnection at the distribution and transmission levels, Preparing, reviewing and or approving technical portions applications for interconnection service, Preparing, reviewing and or approving conceptual drawings and technical documents, Participating in negotiations of interconnection agreements with utilities, as well as Analyzing and responding to interconnection study (feasibility, impact, and facility) results and engaging with utilities to optimize utility service.
ENERGY ESTIMATES
We carry out preliminary simulation to estimate the Annual Energy Production (AEP) through PVsyst software. This process involves the collection and processing of irradiation data, meteorological data, the measure of continuous and alternating currents and the measure of energy at the grid delivery point or at the collection point, under the proposed project’s electrical and structural design & configuration.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS
Our engineers take the responsibility to create plans for grounding and bonding systems, Balance of Plant (BoP) design, SCADA, and Electrical Inspection. We provide stamped and signed electrical drawings, low and medium voltage design, installation details @ 30%, 60%, 90%-IFP, 100%-IFC engineering & design plans.
